Successful Performances in Asia
Concerts in Kuala Lumpur and Seoul
During Dieter Mack's lecture and concert tour to Malaysia, Singapore and Korea, on September 5, most of his piano works had been performed during a lecture concert in Kuala Lumpur. The pianists had been Nicholas Ong and Lee Yin Hwa. On September 11 and 17, various performances of Dieter Mack's works took place in connection with the Accento Festival in Seoul. Mack was invited as "composer-in-residence" during that festival. Especially the performance of his orchestra piece "Terasi" by the Bucheon Philhamrmonic Orchestra on September 17 should be mentioned. After his activities at Seoul National University, Dieter Mack will teach as guest professor at Yonsei UNiversity until October 6.
