Good Bye to the General secretary of the Goethe Institute

Hans Georg Knopp will soon finish his work as general secretary of the Goethe Institute. His engaged activity was signified by intensifying practical cultural cooperations (cultural dialogues) in all fields of arts, especially in connection with Asian cultures. His successor will be Johannes Ebert. The offical farwell ceremony wil take place on 25 January 2012 in the Goethe Institute in Munich. The duo Johannes Fischer-percussion and Nari Hong-flutes will play at this event, including a premiere by Dieter Mack to honor Mr. Knopp.
