Bigband Compositions

Some may know that since some years I have begun again to write Bigband pieces (mainly in connection with my work with the Bandung based Salamander Bigband in Indonesia). By that and in a certain nostalgic way, I recall one of my great loves of the 1970 and early 1980ss. And it happens beside my usual work as a contemporary composer. I must admit that I am very happy with that. For people who are interested in these pieces, please hav a look at my work catalogue and the special section for Bigband. Five of these compositions will be published soon on a CD, called "Luebeck Sounds", recorded by the Bigband of the University of Music Luebeck. I am looking forward to that exciting publication.
