August 2009 Concert Tour with "Ensemble Selisih"
Concert Tour to New Zealand and Indonesia with the Ensemble Selisih/Freiburg
The Freiburg-based "Ensemble Selisih" (Daniela Wahler, Markus Rombach - saxophones, Elizabeth Farrell - flutes, Mathias Trapp - piano) together with Dieter Mack will tour in Indonesia and New Zealand from July 31 until August 18, 2009 for details see: upcoming events). They will perform compositions by Chang-soon Ryu, Michael Norris, Gillian Whitehead and Dieter Mack. Additionally two commissions could be given (with the financial support of the New Zealand Arts Council) to NZ composers Robin Toan and Dylan Lardelli (currently guest student with Dieter Mack in Luebeck). Beside the concerts, various workshops are planned. The tour is also supported by the Goethe Institute (for further information see also: www.ensemble-selisih.de)
